Ann Cael is a poet, writer and actor. She is known as one of the poets of the Vrijbus and is a member of the Vrijhavencollective, both poetry projects by Wit.h vzw. She has long been an actor with De Figuranten in Menen, a theatre company that focuses on people in vulnerable positions. In 2021, she wrote Mag het iets meer zijn, a text on poverty that cuts right through the heart.
