In collaboration with Kunstwerkplaats De Zandberg Harelbeke

Hendrik began his artistic journey creating collages. He would sift through magazines in search of nudes, lingerie, and erotic imagery. Madonnas, Christ figures, and church towers also fired his imagination. From this visual voyeurism–coloured by strict Catholic values–a unique visual language emerged. His collage technique soon expanded into the third dimension, with sculptural assemblages made from found materials.
