LILI VANDERSTRAETEN & KITO KOTSOANE

Lili Vanderstraeten is a performer and maker, drawn to the manifoldness of textiles and daily routines. Lili develops her work by immersing herself in different contexts, often (semi-)public spaces such as parks, waiting areas, and community gardens. Since 2024, Lili has collaborated with fashion designer and multidisciplinary artist Kito Kotsoane. For Crip Stories, they build an installation centred around a sculptural landscape of blankets, found textiles and objects. They integrate sculptural works by Henny Baeken and Nina Plantève-Castryck.

Together with Studio Artîlerie, Lili and Kito will create a new performance, to be seen on Sunday 21 September. More info: www. cripstories.org.
